Great to meet you!
My journey as a Soccer Dad started in 2008 with a hyper-active little boy. At the time, I knew very little about the joys and struggles of the youth soccer journey.
Little did I know that the next 14 years of my life would be consumed with youth soccer. The road trips for tournaments. The shuttling back and forth to practice. The nearly year round schedule with multiple teams.
Navigating the fractured, disjointed youth soccer landscape can be a difficult and frustrating experience. There is no simple playbook. It can also be a lonely journey.
So I set out to learn everything I could youth soccer. I talked with hundreds of soccer coaches, from youth to pro. I interviewed hundreds of parents and players at all levels. Most important, I raised a healthy and successful soccer player, experiencing the highest of highs and the lowest of lows.
The Soccer Parent Lifestyle is a Youth Soccer Media Company that educates, informs, and entertains soccer parents.
We do this in several ways. We have published two educational books, The Soccer Parent Lifestyle - A Formula For Raising Happy, Healthy. and Successful Soccer Players, and Sh*t An Old Soccer Dad Says. In addition, we publish a monthly digital magazine, Soccer Parent Lifestyle Magazine. Plus, we host a community of over 19 thousand soccer parents.
When I started on this journey with my son, it became apparent that he was a much better athlete than I ever was, and a pretty good little soccer player. The drawback was that I had no clue how to place him in the right soccer environment for proper development. Unfortunately, parents around me didn't have a clue. So I made it my mission to help soccer parents help their kids by giving the parents the information, resources, and knowledge that I wish I had when starting out.

I don’t believe skill was, or ever will be, the result of coaches. It is a result of a love affair between the child and the ball
