I keep a plastic tote stocked and ready to go with some travel essentials. I restock from time to time as I do my regular shopping. Includes basic first aid, kitchen trash bags (not just for trash – for laundry, muddy gear, stinky stuff), Clorox wipes, paper towels, silverware (cheap from target), dish soap, laundry soap, paper plates, paper bowls and the stuff mentioned it the post below. Then when we have an overnight stay, the tote gets thrown in the car.

If I am being super organized, I also have a cooler. This week the cooler includes a pan of lasagna (made ahead and frozen – keeps the cooler chill until they get to the hotel), egg bites, fruit, crockpot beef stew in glassware, stuff to make wraps with, spinach salad, plain Greek yogurt and some water.

I'm no soccer guru. Just a soccer Dad who's been through the ups and downs, twists and turns of the youth soccer journey. I help soccer parents develop their players by becoming better soccer parents. It is my mission to make the journey easier, more enjoyable, and more meaningful for soccer parents.

If I stay at a hotel, I take a small bottle of dishwasher detergent, a knife, a fork and a plate. I also like to take strips from True Earth to wash uniforms. Since I am trying to be more conscious about the environment, I take a fabric laundry bag.
